PENTAX DA300mm F/4 ED IF SDM Telephoto Single Focus Lens from Japan
The exterior is very clean, but minor scuffs and scratches may be seen. There may be some minor debris on the sensor, in the viewfinder and in the lens. This super-telephoto lens is equivalent to 460 mm in 35 mm format. The lens uses ED glass in the second and fifth lenses and an inner focus system that thoroughly corrects aberrations that degrade the image quality.
The lens delivers clear, high-contrast images and has achieved a significant reduction in size. The lightweight feel makes it ideal for sports photography and other moving subjects. Equipped with a rotatable tripod mount that can be attached and detached with a simple operation. The SDM mechanism is equipped with an ultrasonic motor inside the lens for quiet and smooth autofocusing (AF drive by the camera's internal motor is also supported). The lens is sealed to prevent water, dust and other contaminants from entering the lens.
The inner-focus optical system provides excellent correction of various aberrations at all shooting distances. The front of the lens is coated with a stain-resistant SP (Super Protect) coating.
The Quick-Shift Focus System allows manual focusing without switching to the manual mode after focusing in AF mode. Angle of view [degrees] 5.4. Number of elements [group] 6/8. Minimum focusing distance [m] 1.4. Maximum diameter x length [mm] 83 x 184.
Has been used very preciously. Almost no signs of wear.
