Canon RF 85mm F/2 Macro IS STM Single Focus Lens from Japan

  

The exterior is very clean, but minor scuffs and scratches may be seen. There may be some minor debris on the sensor, in the viewfinder and in the lens.

The 85 mm focal length maintains an appropriate shooting distance without giving the subject a feeling of oppression, enabling a natural expression of the subject's three-dimensionality and perspective with the background. With a maximum aperture of 2, the lens can be used in a variety of situations, such as portraits and snapshots that make the most of the bokeh effect. Macro shooting function with a maximum magnification of 0.5x and a minimum focusing distance of 0.35m.

When shooting close to the subject, it is possible to express the texture and details of small objects and flowers around you that are difficult to capture with the naked eye. In addition to the focus ring, the camera is equipped with a control ring to which you can assign exposure compensation and aperture settings.

The control ring can be operated while checking the image after shooting through the electronic viewfinder (EVF), for more intuitive and comfortable operation. The optical design and coating of 12 elements in 11 groups, including one UD Lens, enable the lens to be compact and lightweight, with an overall length of approx. 90.5 mm and a mass of approx. 500 g, while suppressing flare, ghosting and various aberrations that can cause image quality degradation. When the EOS R5 is attached, the camera delivers an 8.0-step image stabilisation effect when shooting still images.

Equipped with Hybrid IS for high-precision correction of camera shake during macro shooting. Angle of view (horizontal, vertical, diagonal): 24°, 16°, 28°30°. Lens construction: 12 elements in 11 groups. Number of aperture blades: 9 (circular aperture). Minimum focusing distance: 0.35 m.

Maximum diameter x length: 78.0 x 90.5 mm. Has been used very preciously. Almost no signs of wear.

Slightly scratched and soiled, but can be used without problems. Normal using signs of wear.
