Alpa Kern Macro-Switar 50mm f1.8 AR Macro Lens for Alpa 35mm SLR Cameras. Scarce
Presenting the ALPA Kern-Macro Switar 50mm f/1.8 lens, a rare treasure straight from the heart of Switzerland. Bearing the serial number #932965, this lens embodies the craftsmanship and precision synonymous with Swiss engineering. This lens is from 1962 as I I know who the original owner was and when they bought it on a trip to Switzerland from the US. This is a hard one to part with but I'm trying to help my daughter with college expenses.
The last image is a rose from my front yard taken with this exact lens on using my Fujifilm XT-2 with an Alpa to FX adapter. It's a fun lens to use on a mirrorless camera.
This lens has classic Bokeh and is great for Macro and also general use such as street photography. I put it through it's paces and it's 100% working and good. Measuring approximately 1.7 inches (45mm) in length and weighing around 10.5 ounces, it strikes the perfect balance between portability and durability. Cosmetically, this lens is in excellent condition, scoring an impressive 7 out of 10.While there are some minor coating/cleaning marks on the lens elements, they won't hinder your photographic journey.
